So what about the newest updates and software? If you don't like the layout on your phone, all you have to do is search on the app store install and bob's your uncle.
I got recommended this theme, as a lot of Samsung Galaxy users have it, and I'm a fan of Samsung, even though I currently have a Sony Xperia S (which I had never thought would be as good as it is) and I thought I'd try it as the layout looks pretty smooth to operate.

The lock screen.
The new menu of apps (on the right), which definitely reminds me of my old Samsung Galaxy Ace menu. The only thing is that the menu is now quite busy with as many apps as you can squeeze on the pages, whereas on my Xperia (on the left) is quite spacious and has certain apps on certain pages.
The only thing on my phone where I install new apps to replace one's on the Xperia is that I have to make this choice, as to whether to always use the Touchwiz or if I want to use the Xperia version. Apart from this, the app looks really nice to use, and the movement is swift between pages with is aesthetically pleasing.
